The Scholarships for Graduate Studies Abroad and International Relations (SGSA – IR) under the International Affairs Staff (IAS) office of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has nominated Dr. Nancy Pascual, president of URS, to participate in the CHED Global Academic Leadership Program (CHED – GALP) for State Universities and Colleges Presidents and CHED directors.
Delivering institution is the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).
The CHED – GALP is a 40 half-day online program that aims to provide the essential and transformative skills for the global academic leadership of SUC presidents and CHED directors to meet the needs of the 21st century and support the new vision and mission of CHED that will lead the SUCs to SMART universities.
The program is intended to equip the participants with concepts, principles, and innovative tools that will assist them to perform their mandated leadership functions. These will also strengthen the participants’ problem-solving, decision-making, and team-building skills given the challenges of the 21st-century learnings and the new perspective of the fourth industrial revolution.
