The winners for the best descriptive and best developmental researches together with the best extension project were chosen during the 2020 Agency In-house Research (AIHR)of the University held via Google Meet on August 28.
The titles of the research and extension projects and their researchers and proponents are found below:
Best descriptive research is Mangyan Jokes: Mga Tanda ng Pang-istrukturang Karahasan by Jerwin O. Mahaguay. Best developmental research is a two-part study called Development and Validation of the Case-based Modular Approach Instructional Material in Abnormal Psychology/ Effectiveness of the Case-based Modular Approach Instructional Material in Abnormal Psychology by Niclie L. Tiratira. Best extension paper is Flexible
Learning Assistance Project (FLAP) by Irene O. Feliciano, Wilfredo Marińo, Melvin G. Marcelo, Russell May SJ. San Diego, Estrellita R. Siclat, Helen Libao, Juan Paulo D. Jurada, Danilo M. Pascual, Lourdes T. Tejada, Eloisa M. Bayangos, Armando T. Vale, Jonnah O. Bautista and Eva Maranan.
Second and third best descriptive researches were presented by Jocelyn L. Gagalang, titled Employers’ Assessment and Feedback on the Performance of Graduates of Bachelor of Arts Major in English of URS – Pililla AYs 2013 – 2016; and, Digital Learners’ Attitudes and Competence Towards Reading Literature and Writing Paragraphs, respectively.
The second and third best extension projects follow. Second place is The Advocacy on Youth and Teenage Young Moms on Motherhood and Self-help (TAYTAY MOMS) Phase 2 by Concepcion F. Ofamen, Janice L. Hilao, Carlota Estrada, and Romeo Estrada. Third place is Training on Accounting Practices for Cooperative Enterprises in Rizal (TAPCER) by Susan D. Cadiente, Ernie D. Tano, Liberty T. Ocampo, Yolanda D. Vistal, and Jansen A. San Juan.
Plaques and cash incentives await the winners. Awarding will be heldduring the 15th Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE) of URS on Friday, October 23.
