URS Angono Celebrates Level III Accreditation of Three Academic Programs

The University of Rizal System (URS) Angono Campus proudly celebrated the successful attainment of Level III Program Accreditation for three of its academic programs during the Awarding Ceremony held on February 11, 2026, at Tiamson Hall.

The recognized programs include the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd), and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM). The achievement affirms the Campus’s unwavering commitment to quality assurance, academic excellence, and continuous institutional improvement in delivering responsive and globally competitive higher education.

In her welcome message, Dr. Norma F. Elviña emphasized that the accreditation reflects years of dedication, collaboration, and perseverance among administrators, faculty members, staff, students, alumni, and stakeholders in upholding the University’s standards of excellence.

Representing the University Quality Assurance Office, Mr. Jaeson U. Cruz, together with Ms. Charmaine B. Villarin and Ms. Eden Grace S. Busto, commended the College for its remarkable accomplishment and challenged the academic community to sustain its quality initiatives as it advances toward Level IV Program Accreditation.

Responding on behalf of the accredited programs, Prof. Celina B. Cerda expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful accreditation, describing the recognition as a testament to the College’s collective commitment to delivering quality education and to producing graduates equipped to meet the demands of the 21st century.

The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from Dr. Mary Jane A. De Andres, who encouraged the College to continue strengthening its culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. The event was hosted by Prof. Christian L. Nievera.

More than a symbol of academic distinction, the Level III accreditation underscores URS Angono’s dedication to providing learner-centered, outcomes-based, and quality-assured education. It further strengthens the University’s mission of developing competent, ethical, and globally responsive professionals while reinforcing its standing as a premier institution committed to transformative education and nation-building.
