In response to the challenge of developing commodity-based research, the Research and Development Unit under the directorship of Dr. Niclie L. Tiratira in collaboration with the URS-IPO Project IC-IPTBM headed by Dr. Leo C. Rio, spearheaded a Writeshop on the Conceptualization of Research Proposals for URS Identified Commodity last June 6 and 7, 2023 at the RDEP Training Center in URS Tanay. Other than the set objectives of the writeshop, the research agenda and the DOST Roadmap were presented to guide the seventy (70) researcher-participants in coming up with potential capsule proposals that are related to technology, engineering, aquatic and natural resources. Other faculty researchers who specialize in education, social sciences, and biological science paid premium participation in the said event.
