The University of Rizal System participated in the Business Agri-Trade Fair and Exhibit of the Municipality of Tanay, Rizal during their 13th “HANE” Festival held last November 6-11, 2023. The annual celebration of the Hane Festival is the commemoration of the Municipality of Tanay’s founding anniversary–highlighting its rich culture, arts, tourism, agriculture, and a whole lot more.
As the festival promotes agriculture, the Sustainable Agriculture and Natural Resources Institute (SANRI) of URS showcased their products, such as Powdered Trichantera, Stingless Bee Honey, Cocopeat, vermicompost, URSPerl papaya soap, laundry soap, buko, and assorted vegetables.
The five-day event was delightfully blessed with fruitful success as the URS Tanay campus clinched third place for “Best Booth.”
