As used to be highlighted by the RDEP Champions, life is beautifully colored with human garden of flowers. With the partnership venture of the University of Rizal System with Bukid Amara that lead toward the development of an Agri-Ecotourism Park in URS Tanay main campus, President Nancy T. Pascual with VP Marites M. Rio of the RDEP Division, Dr. Niclie L. Tiratira of the Research and Development unit and Dr. Fe Esperanza T. Mateo of the Extension and Services unit, signed a Memorandum of Agreement last September 13, 2023 with Mr. Michael Caballes, the Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Bukid Amara in Lucban, Quezon.
Bukid Amara is an instagrammable 2.7 hectare flower and vegetable farm that is towered by Mt. Banahaw and is found right on the outskirts of Lucban, Quezon. The partnership with Bukid Amara is hoped to open contextual educational learning opportunities for both the faculty and students of the University aside from the conduct of potential collaboration among the stakeholders of both entities.
President Nancy T. Pascual expressed her delight for seeing the beautiful gifts of Bukid Amara and the grace it offers in the name of inspiring to a greater height agricultural productivity, and sustainable eco-tourism perspective and practices.
