Basic Research Ethics Training

The Research Development, Extension and Production (RDEP) division in partnership with the Philippine Health Research Ethics Board spearheaded the Capacity Training on BASIC RESEARCH ETHICS last May 11 - 12, 2023 at the Audio-Visual Education Center (AVEC), URS Morong Campus and via ZOOM from 8:00am-5:00pm.

The activity aimed to direct support toward the successful accreditation of the newly composed URS Research and Extension Ethics Review Board as per the standard requirements set by the PHREB that seek to ensure adherence of the institution to national and international research ethics guidelines and so with the specific provisions of protection of the rights, safety, and well-being of human participants and promote integrity of research data.

The activity was participated by the members of the URS Research and Extension Ethics Review Board which is composed of thirty (30) faculty researchers and extensionists in various disciplines namely:

  • Business and Arts

Extension

  • Sustainable Food Production and Security Environmental Protection
  • Social Equity, Poverty Alleviation, Disaster Resiliency and Emergency Responses

Graduate School
