19th URS PRAISE Honors 160 Faculty, Staff | 4 Admin Units Cited

A total of 115 received the Loyalty Award – 21 awardees for their 10th year in service, 15 for their 15th, 19 for their 20th, 39 for their 25th year, four for their 30th, 16 for their 35th, and one for her 40th year in service.

The Loyalty Award incentive is granted to faculty and staff who have served the government continuously and satisfactorily for at least 10 years.

Meanwhile, 12 were the recipients of the Service Award that is conferred to retirees under optional or compulsory retirement schemes.

Career and Self-development Incentives were also given to 16 faculty and two staff. This award is granted in recognition of an individual who has satisfactorily completed a course or degree within or outside the campus at one’s own expense and/or to faculty and staff who completed a course on scholarship or with financial assistance.

Seven programs received the Top Performer Course in Board and Other Government Examinations. The award is granted to a college/institute that offers a regulated course where graduates pass the licensure examination given by the   Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) or the Technical Education Skills Development Authority (TESDA).

Awards on Best Descriptive Research, Best Developmental and Experimental Research, and Best Extension Paper were also granted.

The High Performing Center and the Best Administrative Unit awards were distributed. These awards are granted to the top organizational unit, a section, division, or office that meets the organization’s performance targets and other pre-determined criteria.

Similarly, awards were given to the Outstanding Staff, Outstanding Faculty, Exemplary Behavior, and Distinguished Administrator.

The annual PRAISE Awards was held to identify, select, reward, and provide incentives to deserving faculty and staff. It is also given to provide incentives and interventions to motivate faculty and staff who have contributed ideas, suggestions, inventions, discoveries, superior accomplishments, and other personal efforts.

LOYALTY AWARD

Twenty-one who served the University for 10 years are the following: Mr. Amiel Albito, Mr.  Aldo Bautista, Mr. Edmundo Bendaña, Jr., Ms. Romalyn Bombita, Mr. Bienvenido Camtan, Mr. Augusto Cartativo Jr., Prof. Neil Richard Colada, Mr. John Emmanuel Dela Cruz, Ms. Maria Regina Dupaya, Mr. Preny-Boy Estrella, Ms. Grace Ann Faulve, Ms. Maria Elena Martin, Ms. Sheila Marie Martinez, Mr. Edgar Palenzuela, Ms. Monette Pilapil, Mr. King Reyes, Ms. Niña Reyes, Ms. Marianne Aurelia San Esteban, Prof. Estrellita Siclat, Prof. Reymily Rose Sta. Ana, and Mr. Vladimir Tambongco.

Meanwhile, 15 received the 15-year service award. They are Prof. Czarina Ann Alfonso, Prof. Jonnah Bautista, Mr. Oliver John Cayas, Ms. Noa Maama Cequeña, Mr. Alex Emnacino, Mr. Herbert Francisco, Dr. Yvette Garrovillas, Prof. Richelle Go, Prof. Jayson Lozano, Mr. Frederick Clyde Mapa, Prof. Liberty Ocampo, Mr. Dean Raymundo, Mr. Ronald Reyes, Mr. Juniel Trinidad, and Engr. Ver Ian Victorio.

Nineteen were the recipients of the 20-year loyalty award. They are Ma. Eppie Antioquia, Prof. Elwood Atienza, Mr. Ryan Bachicha, Engr. Marvin Baquiran, Dr. Marlon Bautista, Prof. Billy Berdan, Prof. Marc Anthony Butac, Prof. Joanna Ruth Castillo,  Prof. Lani Dela Cruz, Dr. Maria Salome Desoloc, Dr. Ma. Linda Fernandez, Prof. Liezel Francisco, Prof. Helen Libao, Prof. Grace Joy Magistrado, Prof. Homer Magistrado, Dr. Aireen Matimatico, Dr. Reina Miranda, Ms. Marissa Yolanda Samonte, and Prof. Analyn Tanawan.

Also, 39 were given awards for their 25-year service. They are Dr. Irene Abe, Prof. Maria Riza Adolfo, Prof. Joy Alano, Dr. Medyline Almedina, Prof. Aries Anievas, Mr. Rodrigo Anore, Ms. Lorelie Anthony, Ms. Rizalita Belleca, Dr. Jose Binaluyo Jr., Dr. Medardo Bombita, Dr. Rody Buenviaje, Dr. Olivia Cababat, Mr. Sherwin Cababat, Prof. Rosanna Calanasan, Prof. Jose Calmada Jr., Prof. Leoncio Catolos, Ms. Nimfa Ceñal, Prof. Albert Clemente, Dr. Joanne Concepcion, Prof. Rosechel Corral, Prof. Wahinee  Cruzada, Ms. Annalyn De Dios, Ms. Michelle Garcia, Prof. Ferdinand Gimeno, Ms. Belinda Lourdes Habulan, Dr. Maricel Maniaol, Mr. Edgardo Manzano, Ms. Marilen Matela, Dr. Claudine Marty, Dr. Aireen Mora, Dr. Concepcion Ofamen, Dr. Arabella Pabilonia, Prof. Sheryl Ann Perciano, Dr. Carina Pereira, Mr. Romualdo Piscasio, Prof. Michael Protacio, Mr. Hector Rubiales II, Dr. Niclie Tiratira, and Prof. Wilmer Villa.

Thirty years in the service were Prof. Arnold Guiyab, Dr. Wilhelmina Masinsin, Dr. Gary Ken Robles, and Prof. Morgan Sibal.

In addition, Dr. Elvira Abines, Prof. Sennen Alejandro, Prof. Jun Basas, Prof. Arminda Campo, Prof. Rolando Cruz, Prof. Ma. Luz Delizo, Prof. Danilo Esquibel, Prof. Erlinda Manansala, Prof. Donato Natividad, Ms. Eva Natividad, Dr. Danilo Pascual, Prof. Antonio Pegos, Dr. Marites Rio, Prof. Helen Señora, Dr. EuleniaSolano, and Prof. Shirley Vitor received their award for 35 years of service.

Lastly, Prof. Nancy Ulic-Ulic was awarded, having served her 40th year at URS.
