Canapi Named PNU Eminent Alumnih1

Dr. Marita Canapi, President of University of Rizal System (URS) was recently awarded the Award of Excellence from the Philippine Normal University (PNU).

Dr. Canapi has been cited for her exceptional accomplishments as PNU eminent alumna whose personal life, professional achievements and humanitarian service typify the PNU tradition of excellence and exemplify the objectives of her Alma Mater, thereby bringing honor and prestige to the University.

The awarding coincides with the 112th founding anniversary of PNU which was held on September 30, 2013 at PNU, City of Manila. /ab

BSME, BSEE Post High Passing Percentage h2

BSEE resulted to 17 out of 26 or 65.38% passers while BSME posted 22 out of 27 or 81.48% passers.Graduates of BS – Electrical Engineering (BSEE) and BS – Mechanical Engineering (BSME) posted high percentage of passers in the September 2013 board examinations held for the courses.

URS Engineering Grad Recognized by the Office of the President for Finishing the 26-Month DPWH Cadet Engineering Program as Top 3h3

Engr. John John Villegas, College of Engineering Civil Engineering
Graduate belonging to Batch 2011 was recognized along with other DPWH Cadet Program completer in recent ceremony held in the Office of the President. No less than President Aquino was the guest speaker and led the recognition of the more than 40 Civil Engineers from 20 schools and universities all over the country.

URS Engineering Grad Placed 6th in November 2013 CE Board h4

The University has added another Top placers in Civil Engineering Board. Rollie B. Buban from the College of Engineering placed 6th in the November 2013 CE Board administered by PRC. He led the 15 newly Licensed Civil Engineers produced by the College. He is the third Board Top Placers produced by the College. In terms of passing percentage, the University registered above national passing rate.
