RDCHIME Premiers Animation Module Making Contest

The Regional Design and Creativity Hub for Innovation in MSMEs and Education is a partnership endeavor between the Department of Science and Technology and the University of Rizal System. The establishment of the center is aimed at enhancing the capability of industries in the Province of Rizal and at the same time providing educational training for both faculty and students in the development of innovative skills.

Considering that one of the specific objectives in the operation of Center is to support technology-driven product innovation and prototyping in the field of industrial processes and automation, instructional materials, digital products, and product packaging design and development, Engr Jane Maranion, Head, RDCHIME, premiered an Animation Module Making Contest soon after Vice-President Marites M. Rio issued RDEP Advisory 19, series 9-2020.

The entries were judged last October 23, 2020. The winners are as follows:

  • Amateur Teacher Category: 1st Place- Ben Mark Joy Amilla Cuvinar of Dayap National High School; 2nd– Gian Paolo Francisco, Anan Victoria Cordero, Rodler Villalan, and Anniversary Balbuena of URS-Angono
  • Students’ Category: 1st– Carl Joshua Alcantara, Jediael Rodriguez, Ronald Solomon and Ma. Laura Baclig of URS– Angono Campus; 2nd Place– Erica Faye Villanueva of National College of Science and Technology
