MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Faculty and Staff Training Programs

In terms of investment to human resource development thru faculty and staff training and conference/seminar participation, the University has spent a total of Php 816,603.00 for the registration and training/seminar fees of 146 faculty and staff as of the first half of this year. This is aside from the scholarship and education-related benefits offered by the University to faculty and staff.

Almost half of the expenses in training and seminars were due to the numerous summer staff development program spearheaded by the University HRMO. The Training Programs for Summer of 2009 were the result of the Training Needs Assessment (TNA) conducted last November 2008. Other programs were lined –up for the Comprehensive Human Resource Development Plan 2009 – 2013. The title, participants, speakers, objectives, duration and budget allotted for these HRD program are specified in Table 12.
