1st World Creative Youth Forum

In other related student accomplishments, Suzette Plegaria of URS-Morong and Jerickson San Francisco of URS-Tanay were chosen as official representatives of the Philippines to the 1st World Creative Youth Forum (WCY) sponsored by the Brotherhood of Destiny International, Children of the World 2000 and UNESCO-Jakarta held last May 5-10, 2009 at University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. A total of 87 youth leaders from Asia, Europe, Africa, North and South America and Australia gathered to exchange ideas on the growing concern for climate change, sustainable lifestyle, education, and ethical living.

Mr. Nicanor Perlas, Alternative Nobel Awardee, serves as resource speaker for the 1st WCF Forum.
