Certified Public Accountant Licensure Topnotchers

In barely eight years of existence, the University of Rizal System (URS) produced two (2) topnotchers (2nd and 13th) in the very tough and competitive Certified Public Accountancy Board in May 2009. URS missed the top spot by a mere 0.57 percentage point to De La Salle University. To add more glory to this milestone, four (4) out of six (6) students passed the licensure examination which is equivalent to 66.67% passing rate and way above the national passing rate of 28%. Hopefully, URS can sustain this achievement by attracting more students in accountancy and business programs.
