A total of 177 individuals were cited in the 2017 University of Rizal System (URS) Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence (PRAISE). Top performer courses in board and other examinations were likewise recognized.
Twenty-three service awardees, 126 loyalty recipients, 20 career and self-development awardees, 6 research and extension proponents and this year’s 3 University Presidential Awardees were honored in the 12th PRAISE held at the URS – Morong Campus on September 29. The top performer courses in board examinations and the top performer courses in other government examinations were also recognized.
The top performer courses in board examinations follow:
URS Antipolo: College of Education (COE) Bachelor of Elementary Education (3rd Citation) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (3rd Citation); URS Morong: COE – Bachelor of Elementary Education (2nd Citation); and, URS Rodriguez: COE – Bachelor of Elementary Education (Hall of Fame) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (3rd Citation).
The top performing courses in the Technical Education Skills and Development Authority (TESDA) National Certification (NC) examinations are found below:

The 2015 PRAISE Committee headed by Dr. Nancy Pascual, Vice-President for Administration and Finance, likewise announced the winners for the Distinguished Administrator Award, the Exemplary Behavior Award as well as the Presidential Merit Award. They are Dr. Fe Batoon, Prof. Edna Bataller and Dr. Leo Rio, respectively.
